New From the Pastor's Desk

I wanted to send a quick note out to everyone...May is going to be a busy month here at New Life so I wanted to remind you of some upcoming events! 

  • May 8 - this Thursday is the Ladies Coffee Night at Barnes & Noble on Harbison at 7 pm
  • May 9 - this Friday is "Mom's Night Off" from 6 to 9:30 - please sign up for this one!
  • May 11 - this Sunday is our Mother's Day Breakfast here at 9:30 am (no Sunday School classes) Sign Mom (and family) up this week...sponsored by the Men's ministry.
  • May 25 - You don't want to miss this one... we are having "church in the Park" at Harbison State Forest starting at 10 am followed by our annual church picnic... bring your lawn chairs, your lunch (grills provided) and join us for a day of fun...games and family softball game...then pucker up for the famous watermelon seed spitting contest!
  • Please note: the Locker Room meeting for May 25 has been cancelled and is rescheduled for Sunday, June 29 at 6:30 pm

Royal Ranger Announcements:
  • Rangers of all ages meet every Wednesday at 7 pm in the old Children's Church Room. If you are interested in joining or have any questions, contact Tracy Chavis, Senior Commander.
  • Ranger Kids - K5 - 2nd Grade
  • Discovry Rangers - 3rd-5th Grade
  • Adventure Rangers - 6th -8th Grade
  • Expedition Rangers - 9th-12th Grade
